The city of Puerto Madryn is located on the northeastern side of the province of Chubut, on the shores of the New Gulf and standing at the foot of the cliffs of a plateau reaching 120 metres above sea-level.
It shows particular climatic features due to its geographic location. The mean annual temperature is 14 degrees Celsius with a maximum temperature for summer of 35 degrees Celsius, and a minimum in winter below 5 degrees Centigrade. Precipitations are scarce in summer,...and also in winter. :-)
